About

We started Dagbladet.blog because we wanted a place where honest conversations could happen without the usual noise.

This isn’t a massive news organization with hundreds of reporters. It’s a small operation run by people who care about getting stories right and presenting them in ways that actually make sense. We write about what matters: current events, culture, technology, and the issues that affect everyday life.

Our approach is straightforward: we do the research, check our sources, and write in plain language. No clickbait headlines. No spinning stories to fit an agenda. Just solid reporting and thoughtful commentary.

What We Cover

We focus on topics that deserve more attention than they typically get. Sometimes that means diving deep into a trending news story. Other times, it means exploring subjects that bigger outlets overlook. Our writers come from different backgrounds, which helps us see stories from multiple angles.

You’ll find articles here about politics, technology trends, social issues, and cultural shifts. We’re particularly interested in how these things intersect and what that means for regular people trying to make sense of the world.

Our Standards

Every piece we publish goes through a real editorial process. We fact-check, we cite sources, and we’re willing to issue corrections when we get something wrong. Transparency matters to us.

We don’t pretend to be neutral robots; everyone has perspectives but we commit to being fair and honest about where we’re coming from.

Why “Dagbladet”?

The name comes from the Norwegian word for “daily paper.” While we’re not Norwegian and we don’t publish strictly on a daily schedule, we liked the connection to traditional journalism values: timeliness, relevance, and serving readers first.

Get Involved
